Job Summary
Coordinate residential service programs for individuals with autism and developmental disabilities, including developing and monitoring Individualized Support Plans. Supervise Direct Support staff, conduct interviews and hiring, manage performance reviews, and enforce progressive disciplinary actions for policy violations. Ensure compliance with Department of Mental Health standards by completing weekly quality assurance checks, maintaining accurate records, and resolving billing variances. Participate in on-call rotations and oversee team scheduling while fostering a person-centered environment.
Required Qualifications
- Graduated from an accredited college or university with a bachelor's degree with major specialization in the field of human services
- Five years of relevant experience
- One year of experience working with individuals with autism spectrum disorders, psychiatric disorders, and/or developmental disabilities
- Valid driver license
- Insured vehicle you are able to use for work
- Ability to exercise good judgment and discretion
- Ability to work with and respect persons with intellectual and developmental disabilities and other mental health diagnoses
- Ability to work varied and flexible hours and to accept and adapt to changes in assignments, methods, policies, etc.
- Considerable knowledge of applied behavior analysis, autism, developmental disabilities, and allied disciplines involved in the evaluation, care, and habilitation of persons with autism spectrum disorders and other disabilities
- Considerable knowledge of the principles of leadership, supervision, and training of staff members
- Ability to effectively carryout and enforce all Arc policies
Desired Qualifications
- Experience working with/ in Individualized Supported Living homes
