Job Summary
Program Specialist in a Passavant Memorial Homes residential setting responsible for managing and supervising the safety and well-being of individuals with intellectual disabilities, autism, mental health, and behavioral health needs; coordinate IP development, annual IP updates, and IP revisions; oversee Direct Support Professionals, ensure attendance/payroll records, lead staff trainings, monitor budgetary compliance, and ensure adherence to policies and CH. 6400.181(a) regulations; facilitate community integration and IP process participation; requires supervisory experience and relevant degrees; salary $75,000 per year; Mt. Pleasant, PA.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of two years supervisory experience
- Valid driver’s license
- Experience with 6400 regulations required
- Master’s degree or higher from an accredited college or university and one (1) year experience working directly with individuals with developmental disabilities OR Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university and two (2) years’ experience working directly with individuals with developmental disabilities OR Associate’s degree, or 60 credit hours, from an accredited college or university and four (4) years’ experience working directly with individuals with developmental disabilities
Desired Qualifications
- National Alliance of Direct Support Professionals (NADSP) certifications
- Experience developing Individual Plans (IP) and IP revisions
- Knowledge of CH. 6400.181(a) regulations
- Budgetary compliance experience
- Supervisory experience with Direct Support Professionals
