Job Summary

Program Specialist coordinates services for adults with developmental disabilities who live in residential homes or receive services in their own homes throughout Montgomery and Bucks Counties, ensuring each individual is served according to their ISP and agency/regulatory guidelines. Serves as lead in an interdisciplinary team, develops and implements age-appropriate services focused on functional skills and community participation, reviews outcomes and makes recommendations for changes, trains Residential Instructors on outcomes/goals and health/safety needs, completes Annual Functional Assessments, and maintains regulatory documentation and communications with the Supports Coordinator and team. Requires a Bachelor’s Degree (degree in a social services discipline preferred), minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, strong written and verbal communication skills, proficiency with Microsoft Word/Excel, and a valid driver’s license with a clear three-year driving record. Includes activities such as attending meetings, coordinating ISP/IPP updates, ensuring HIPAA compliance, safeguarding resident rights, performing necessary regulatory documentation, and participating in training and compliance activities. Location is Cowpath Road – Main campus, Souderton, PA (two listed postings for Souderton, PA).

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a social services discipline preferred
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in the field of developmental disabilities
  • Valid driver’s license with a clear three-year driving record
  • Satisfactory completion of post-offer pre-employment physical exam and drug test as required
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Ability to develop and implement services according to ISP
  • Ability to communicate outcomes and changes effectively
  • Knowledge of HIPAA standards
  • Experience in coordinating services and training Residential Instructors
  • Ability to perform required documentation to ensure regulatory compliance
  • Professional conduct and teamwork in a regulatory environment
