Job Summary

Coordinate public, individual, and committee meetings while planning the Texas Regional Broadband Program and other Community & Economic Development initiatives. Provide administrative reports to local governments and state agencies, conduct comprehensive reviews of regional plans, and prepare gap analysis and alignment reports. Serve as a liaison to staff, government agencies, and community organizations to explain program specifics, gather input for digital literacy goals, and ensure compliance with laws and regulations. Markets development plans to professional groups and performs fieldwork with travel, including outdoor conditions and equipment handling.

Required Qualifications

  • Valid/Current Texas Driver's License
  • Regional and or state travel required
  • May require doing fieldwork with exposure to outdoor conditions
  • lifting of equipment weighing up to 25lbs, as necessary

Desired Qualifications

  • Three (3) year minimum experience in public administration, business management, economic development or related field
