Job Summary
Assumes the primary caretaker role for psychiatric patients ages Pre-K through adolescents including managing daily living activities and maintaining a safe environment. Engages in crisis intervention, teaches, facilitates group processes, and provides on-call support as needed. Preferred qualifications include inpatient or partial hospital psychiatric treatment experience and pediatric experience.
Required Qualifications
- High school Diploma
- Experience in inpatient or partial hospital psychiatric treatment preferred
- Pediatric experience preferred
- CPI Non-Violent Crisis Intervention - Units 1-7 & 9-10 plus the CPI Children's Control Position from Unit 8 or must be completed within 60 days of start date
- Heartsaver CPR within 60 days of start date
- CSC SCM training must be completed within 60 days of start date
