Job Summary
Conduct HIV/STI and Hepatitis C testing, risk reduction counseling, and phlebotomy in community and clinic settings. Deliver Pre-exposure Prophylaxis education, link clients to treatment programs, and distribute condoms and promotional materials. Perform community outreach at shelters, bars, and resource centers to facilitate testing, tabling, and health education events. Maintain accurate documentation of testing in electronic medical records, state reporting systems, and paper files while ensuring 100% client confidentiality per HIPAA. Develop community partnerships through formal and informal agreements under supervision. Represent the organization at local, state, and national conferences. Work Monday-Thursday 8:00 am-5:30 pm, Friday 8:00 am-12:30 pm, with nights and weekends as needed.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma
- Must be able to operate a motor vehicle
- Valid insurance
- Driver's license
- Must be able to pass a Level I and Level II Background check
Desired Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a related field
- Relevant college-level coursework
