Job Summary
Conduct HIV/STI and Hepatitis C testing, risk reduction counseling, and phlebotomy in clinic and community-based settings. Deliver Pre-exposure Prophylaxis education, link clients to treatment programs, and distribute condoms and promotional materials. Perform community outreach at shelters, bars, and resource centers while fostering partnerships through formal agreements. Ensure 100% client confidentiality per HIPAA laws and accurately document services in electronic medical records and state reporting systems. Represent the organization at local, state, and national conferences and coordinate client services with internal and external disciplines. Requires night and weekend hours outside standard operating times.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma
- Must be able to operate a motor vehicle
- Valid insurance
- Driver's license
- Must be able to pass a Level I and Level II Background check
Desired Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a related field
- Relevant college-level coursework
