Job Summary
Develop outcome-based curriculum for girls ages 5-17 through schools and community partners in Vermillion County. Facilitate year-round programs during school days and after school hours based on community assessments. Build collaborations with religious, educational, and cultural institutions to enhance visibility and funding. Implement data reports, maintain program records, and prepare budget documents. Ensure diverse programming reflects the interests of girls across racial, ethnic, and cultural groups. Interpret council and GSUSA policies while participating in required meetings. Collaborate with the Fund Development Department to secure program-related funding. Carry out goals established by the council and GSUSA.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- Minimum of 5 years' experience working with children
- Minimum age 21
- Reliable transportation for daily travel in the Danville community and occasional travel in Central Illinois
- Reliable home internet
- Walking, standing, bending, stooping, reaching and moderate lifting of approximately 30 pounds
- Ability to sit at a work station and/or a computer screen for up to 2 hours at a time
- Occasional exposure to seasonal weather conditions
- Ability to drive with a clean driving record, minimum state auto insurance, and valid driver's license
- Prefer candidates to live in Vermillion county
