Job Summary
Design and develop tumbling programs for various age groups and skill levels. Create lesson plans that emphasize key tumbling skills including rolls, handstands, flips, and cartwheels. Teach tumbling classes, ensuring students learn proper techniques and form to prevent injury. Demonstrate exercises and routines while providing hands-on guidance. Continuously update the curriculum based on new techniques and student feedback.
Required Qualifications
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to serve a diverse community
- Experience working with children or youth in a sports or fitness environment
- In-depth knowledge of tumbling techniques, acrobatic movements, and safety practices
- Understanding of strength, flexibility, and conditioning exercises related to tumbling
Desired Qualifications
- Bi-Lingual
- Experience in teaching tumbling or gymnastics (1-3 years preferred)
