Job Summary
Program Specialist, Data and Assessment supports the coordination and implementation of district-wide assessment and accountability programs, analyzes federal/state/district testing data, prepares reports for School Accountability requirements, collaborates with district staff and committees, and provides leadership in evaluating program effectiveness while promoting equity and accountability. The role requires a valid California teaching credential, training in educational technology and assessment, and proven experience in data analysis and adult training to support Gifted Student opportunities in alignment with the district's vision and policies.
Required Qualifications
- Valid California teaching credential
- Five years of successful classroom experience and/or school support
- Experience in educational technology, assessment and accountability
- Experience in training adults in assessment and data analysis
- Knowledge of state and federal testing
- Evidence of ability to analyze assessment data and report results
- Ability to coordinate district-level programs and support staff
