Job Summary
Develop meaningful community connections and plan inclusive, person-centered activities for individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities. Facilitate community participation and skills development (e.g., money management, shopping, social interaction) through PCPs and individualized plans, supervise daily program activities, ensure accurate documentation in the EHR, and collaborate with families, providers, and regulatory agencies. Lead program planning and operations, supervise staff, provide training on employment skills and behavioral supports, and support transitions and community-based experiences while maintaining safety, documentation, and compliance with agency policies. Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills, plus supervisory experience and a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent combination of education and experience) are required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent (as stated) or high school diploma/equivalent with experience in providing services to adults with Intellectual Disabilities or Developmental Disabilities
- Must be computer literate with excellent oral and written skills
- Must have strong communication skills
- Must be dependable/reliable and capable of using required software
- Must have ability to problem-solve and assist in decision-making, including during emergencies
- Must maintain current status regarding required core competencies and certifications within established schedule
- Must meet criteria to be approved driver for the Arc and have reliable transportation
- Must be able to work productively with individuals and teams to develop relationships
- Must possess excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
