Job Summary
The Program Specialist coordinates and executes Career Exploration Camps and Internship activities for Mission Services, building internal and external relationships with partners and the Career and Skills Center to support out-of-school youth in career navigation. Responsibilities include planning and conducting camps and internships, coordinating site visits with local school systems, performing outreach and cold calls, assisting with job shadowing and guest visits, delivering presentations to promote opportunities, maintaining participant data confidentiality, ensuring timely data entry, and collaborating with staff to connect participants with relevant opportunities. The role requires strong interpersonal and communication skills, the ability to work independently with minimal supervision, adaptability across multiple tasks, and a valid driver’s license with access to a reliable vehicle. Education: Bachelor's Degree preferred (in human services, business administration, career counseling, workforce development, or related field). Bilingual English/Spanish highly desirable.
