Job Summary
Leads the Program Services capability area, manages a geographically diverse team of specialists delivering program advisory and support to defense, government, and commercial clients. Responsible for staffing and mentoring the PS team, applying specialist technical knowledge across disciplines, and collaborating with the Capability Management Team to deliver integrated solutions that meet client and business objectives. Responsibilities include overseeing program and project support activities, acting as discipline lead/assurer on projects, managing internal projects, maintaining technical competency, mentoring staff, ensuring codes of conduct, and coordinating with PMs, PS Team Leads, and other Capability Managers. Role-specific duties cover managing utilization and capacity, recruitment planning, onboarding, budget management and reporting, staff development, internal training, and driving continuous improvement. Essential skills include security clearance to NATO Secret (or ability to obtain), proven leadership of multi-disciplinary teams, deep understanding of client needs in Program Services, and strong communication and analytical capabilities; a university degree is required with a preferred Masters in business/project/program management (Desirable).
Required Qualifications
- university degree in a relevant discipline
- Minimum of 10 years of relevant professional experience
- The ability to lead one or more domains in management of complex defence products
- PMP Certified (Desirable)
- Prosci change management practitioner (Desirable)
