Job Summary
Program & Resource Specialist at TrueCare will screen patients for eligibility for programs such as Medi-Cal, Covered CA, PFPACT, CHDP, and other episodic programs, and enroll patients into appropriate programs to ensure continued access to care. Travel between TrueCare sites is required. Requires high school graduation, knowledge of medical terminology, data entry training (preferred), a CA driver’s license with a clean driving record, reliable transportation, and bilingual English/Spanish abilities. The role emphasizes explaining program specifics to patients and helping secure the most appropriate financial resources for ongoing care, with duties including eligibility screening, enrollment, and patient education across diverse populations.
Required Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent
- CA Driver's License, clean driving record, reliable transportation
- Certified Enrollment Counselor or eligible for certification within three months of hire
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Data entry training preferred
- Bilingual (English/Spanish)
