Job Summary
Program & Resource Specialist will screen patients for eligibility for Medi-Cal, Covered CA, PFPACT, CHDP, and episodic programs, enroll patients into appropriate programs, and explain program specifics to patients. Requires travel between TrueCare sites in California, strong communication and organizational skills, data-entry proficiency, knowledge of medical terminology, and bilingual English/Spanish abilities. Certification as Enrollment Counselor (or eligible within 3 months) is expected; driving and transportation are required.
Required Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Data entry training (preferred)
- Certified Enrollment Counselor or eligible for certification within three months of hire
- CA Driver's License with clean driving record and reliable transportation
- Bilingual (English/Spanish)
