Job Summary
Program Rep provides professional development and coaching to K-12 ELA teachers and school staff to improve reading proficiency for students with disabilities. Responsibilities include developing and delivering teacher PD, observing classrooms, providing targeted feedback, supporting curriculum implementation and data-informed instructional planning, leading professional learning communities, and promoting instructional strategies, UDL, assistive technology, and accommodations. Requires expertise in ELA content, ESE practices, data analysis, and collaboration with school-based coaches and specialists to strengthen student outcomes.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
- Five (5) years of experience in exceptional student education
- Florida Department of Education certification in at least one area of exceptional student education
- ELA certification and reading endorsement preferred
