Job Summary

The Program Quality & Outcomes Specialist supports the Director of Program Quality in coordinating program quality assessments across Club sites, including preparation, scheduling, data collection, and follow-up documentation. Responsible for administering assessments (e.g., NYOI, PQA), maintaining data systems for accurate data entry, tracking grant-funded outcomes, and ensuring reporting aligns with funder requirements. Develops tools and protocols to support program quality improvement and grant compliance, collaborates with Club Directors and staff for reliable data collection, liaises with the Resource Development department to organize outcome data for grant reporting and communications, prepares data summaries and program impact documentation, and helps build staff data literacy through training. Contributes to dashboards and data visualization efforts and identifies data gaps to implement improvements. Supports annual reporting processes and coordinates with external evaluators or funders as needed. Travel statewide to Club sites is required.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in education, social sciences, nonprofit management, public administration, or a related field required.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience in program evaluation, data management, grant compliance, or a related role in a nonprofit or youth-serving environment.
  • Experience with program quality assessment tools and frameworks, preferably in a youth development or out-of-school time setting.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and analyze data, maintain data systems, and prepare clear outcome reports and summaries.
  • Familiarity with grant reporting requirements and experience supporting compliance with funder outcome expectations.
  • Experience working collaboratively across departments, particularly with program and fundraising or development teams.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel; experience with data management platforms, survey tools, or learning management systems preferred.
  • Familiarity with BGCA programs, assessments, or the Boys & Girls Clubs movement a plus.
  • Strong written communication skills with the ability to translate data into accessible narratives for diverse audiences.
  • Ability to travel statewide to Club sites regularly; valid driver’s license required.
  • Ability to pass all required background checks and clearances.
