Job Summary
Program Planning Implementation Specialist Teacher at SSRCE serving Bridgewater Family of Schools. Responsibilities include establishing systems and routines, SEL programming, implementation of adaptations and IPPs, managing the Program Planning Process, TIENET usage, supporting students with academic and behaviour challenges, scheduling and caseload management, and selecting appropriate evidence-based interventions to support students, transition planning, and complex case support. The role involves modelling, co-teaching, and observation/feedback to support Teachers, Learning Support Teachers, Educational Assistants, and Administration in implementing program planning to meet individual student needs. Notable assets include knowledge of Differentiated Instruction, Universal Design for Learning, MTSS, and local community supports; requires ability to develop and deliver professional learning and strong collaboration skills.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Education Degree
- Masters Degree in Special Education, Diverse Learners (SLDNE), Master of Education in Inclusive Education (Curriculum & Instruction) or other directly related Masters Degree
- Minimum five (5) years successful classroom teaching experience
- Minimum two (2) years successful support teaching experience (i.e. Resource, Learning Centre, Learning Disabilities Teachers)
- Minimum three (3) years experience in the use of TIENET to implement the Program Planning Process including the development and implementation of Individual Program Plans
- Internal applicants must meet a minimum threshold of 70% where they do not have experience in the position
- External applicants must meet a minimum threshold of 70%
- Satisfactory Child Abuse Register Check and Criminal Record / Vulnerable Sector Checks
