Job Summary
Program Planner for MDRT to manage all aspects of assigned global meetings, serving as staff liaison to the Program Development Committee (PDC). Lead topic identification, speaker management, and contracting for sessions; coordinate programming logistics and ensure deadlines. Maintain knowledge of trends in association programming and professional education; collaborate with volunteers and staff, draft committee agendas, and curate speakers. Requires strong project management, exceptional communication, customer service, and collaboration skills; office-based in Park Ridge, IL on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 2-5 years of experience in nonprofit association work (volunteer management or similar)
- Experience in adult learning, program development, or continuing professional education preferred
- Strong project management skills with the ability to organize and prioritize complex workloads
- Excellent customer service and relationship-building skills with staff and committees
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with cross-functional audiences
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and online collaboration tools (Google Docs, SharePoint)
- Ability to work in Park Ridge, IL office on Tuesdays and Wednesdays
