Job Summary
Medically responsible for all clients enrolled in the outpatient substance abuse treatment program, including special populations; assess admission suitability and ongoing physical and mental stability; ensure completion of admission/annual physicals, medical histories, and laboratory testing (including TB) per state/federal regulations; review medical documentation and manage care per best practices; screen for co-morbidities and drug interactions; prescribe and titrate methadone maintenance; order dosage changes and supervised withdrawal as indicated; write and sign medical orders; possess Oregon licensure as a physician with a current DEA license and DATA waiver; meet Oregon requirements for employment in an opioid treatment program; role blends on-site and telehealth under full-time schedule.
