Job Summary
Own operations execution on established and emerging DoD and Direct Commercial Sales programs with cost-plus and firm-fixed contract types to ensure on-time delivery. Lead Front End of the Business activities including contract requirements review, BOM development, MRP planning, manufacturing execution plan development, and Make/Buy/Where strategy. Drive Transition to Production to prepare the McKinney factory for the next set of programs. Lead multi-functional teams to resolve issues and drive productivity improvements using Six Sigma/lean methodologies, risk mitigation, and opportunity capture. Manage resources to support program requirements, collaborate with program management, suppliers, customers, and government representatives. Perform Operations Control Account Manager duties including budgeting, cost accounts, baselines, EACs, Earned Value Management tasks, and variance analyses with recovery plans. Partner with Program Managers in strategic contract shaping and execution.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or advanced degree in related field
- minimum of five (5) years prior relevant experience or three (3) years with advanced degree
- ability to obtain and maintain U.S. government issued security clearance
- U.S. citizenship or immigration status allowing clearance
- experience with DoD or government contracts
- experience in program operations, factory operations, or related roles
- experience with planning, budgeting, and EAC/EVMS practices
