Job Summary
Program Operations Manager to oversee community food distribution programs (Youth Programs and Community Markets) for MANNA Food Bank in Western North Carolina. Responsibilities include managing purchase planning, inventory, and distribution; coordinating program administration, operations, and program reporting; supervising staff and coordinating with Managers to ensure program goals and metrics are met; collaborating with partners to plan, train, and support mobile distribution sites; overseeing budget, procurement, grant compliance, and data collection to drive program performance; and supporting fundraising and contract activities while promoting an inclusive, mission-driven culture. Moderate travel within the service area is required.
Required Qualifications
- Education/Experience: High School diploma or equivalent with specialized training and/or certification, and over five years of relevant work experience OR Associate degree and 2 years of relevant work experience
- Fields of experience can include warehouse management, program management, and procurement
- Verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present information and influence others
- Experience with data analysis and budgeting
- Experience leading teams and working with nonprofits in diverse and rural settings
