Job Summary
VP-level Program Officer in Global Philanthropy based in Dallas, TX, responsible for leading a philanthropic portfolio across priority markets in the Southern and Midwestern U.S., designing and executing grantmaking initiatives, managing budgets, building external relationships, and aligning initiatives with the firm’s CR strategy and impact objectives.
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of relevant work experience in program development, implementation, strategy, and/or policy in nonprofit, corporate, and/or government environment
- Passion for Global Philanthropy’s mission; deep knowledge of and experience in economic inclusion, with a focus on financial health, employment and labor markets, affordable housing and community development, and small business and entrepreneurship
- Demonstrated ability to think strategically about solving structural issues, as well as program design and implementation
- Understanding of grantmaking and the nonprofit sector; ability to assess track record and capacity of nonprofit organizations
- Excellent relationship management and people skills; ability to communicate (verbal and written) complex ideas to diverse audiences
- Creative, flexible, and collaborative with an ability to work in a team-oriented environment
- Demonstrate a high-degree of initiative; results-oriented
- Bachelor’s degree required
