Job Summary

Coordinate MENTOR Washington's National Mentoring Resource Center by managing technical assistance requests, drafting objectives, matching projects to providers, and tracking program quality metrics. Support the National Quality Mentoring System through annual monitoring, site review coordination, and resource distribution to enrolled programs. Develop strategic initiatives in youth development, equity, and career connected mentoring while facilitating workshops and managing project budgets. Gather program stories for marketing and analyze data from pre-and post-surveys to measure outcomes. Collaborate with communications staff to highlight accomplishments and recruit new programs into core systems.

Required Qualifications

  • Excellent organizational and project management skills, with the ability to plan and implement projects independently or collaboratively in a demanding, fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to multi-task and work well under pressure.
  • Excellent presentation and facilitation skills in group settings, both in person and virtually.
  • Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communications skills
  • Skills in Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook) and Sharepoint.
  • Ability to identify and solve problems.
  • Ability to respond to time-sensitive concerns and demonstrate quick, creative problem-solving solutions under pressure.
  • An established commitment to work collaboratively and harmoniously with staff, colleagues and external partners.
  • A commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion.
  • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time.
  • Must have a valid driver's license, reliable transportation and proof of insurance.
  • Must reside in the state of Washington or Idaho.
  • Must be able to handle the stress that is involved in meeting strenuous and competing deadlines, working in high volume areas, and be flexible and able to interact with employees, students, and/or community partners of all levels.

Desired Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Three years of related experience preferred, in fields of education and/or youth development.
  • Experience with Salesforce preferred.
