Job Summary
Cultivate strong relationships with artists, cultural organizations, and community stakeholders to strengthen the regional arts and culture ecosystem. Manage a portfolio of grants and initiatives by conducting proposal reviews, performing due diligence, and developing recommendations for internal review and board consideration. Provide technical assistance to applicants and grantees while evaluating grant performance and reporting requirements. Facilitate connections among diverse partners to advance systems change and prepare briefings for leadership. Represent the Foundation in public engagements and convene stakeholders around community solutions. Engage donors through facilitated conversations and share expertise to support informed grantmaking. Assess progress in real time to adapt strategies and ensure alignment with long-term Impact Agenda outcomes.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- Master's degree in public policy, public administration, social work, education, business or a related field
- A minimum of 3 years in a similar role
- Significant experience working in the City of Cleveland's neighborhoods
- Passion for Cleveland and its arts and culture sector
- Proven ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously
- Exceptional writing and presentation skills
Desired Qualifications
- master's degree in public policy, public administration, social work, education, business or a related field strongly preferred
- Strong collaboration skills across multidisciplinary teams and diverse communities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and working knowledge of database systems (e.g. Salesforce)
- Experience working in one or more of the following sectors – health and human services, community development, community organizing, neighborhood revitalization, or any other related fields
