Job Summary
The Program Officer, Alumni Engagement is responsible for the design, development, and execution of alumni engagement initiatives. This role involves creating professional development programs, delivering engaging learning activities, and fostering collaboration among alumni and program partners. The ideal candidate will be a proactive self-starter with 8-10+ years of relevant experience and a Bachelor's degree, demonstrating strong project management skills and the ability to build positive relationships in diverse environments. Additionally, the role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Required Qualifications
- 8-10+ years of experience in alumni relations, volunteer management, event planning, or related field
- College or university degree in related field or equivalent
- Strong work ethic and demonstrated professionalism
- Capacity to work with diverse stakeholders in a dynamic environment
- Excellent planning, organizational and project management skills
- Ability to design, develop, and deliver new alumni programs
- Deep understanding of adult learning theories and instructional design principles
- Familiarity with Learning Management Systems and educational technology platforms
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
