Job Summary
Seeking a full time NYS Licensed Registered Nurse to work with a multidisciplinary team in a community-based Adult Day Health Care Program. Responsibilities include conducting nursing assessments, developing and monitoring treatment plans, managing medications, leading health education groups, and maintaining documentation. The role requires excellent communication and assessment skills along with experience in Med/Surg., Long Term Care, or Community Health. The candidate should have 3-5 years of relevant nursing experience.
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing
- Current license from State Board of Nursing
- 3-5 years recent staff experience in Med/Surg., Long Term Care or Community Health
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
Desired Qualifications
- UAS-NY certification preferred
- Excellent assessment skills
- Computer proficiency in MS Word
Additional Requirements
- Requires NYS Licensed Registered Nurse
- Experience preferably in the geriatric field
