Job Summary
Oversee quality improvement and patient safety initiatives for oncology and ambulatory imaging services, including policy development and compliance with regulatory agencies such as the Commission on Cancer and ACR. Analyze quality data through collection, trending, and interpretation to support leadership decision-making and drive process improvements. Lead regional educational programs across multiple clinical sites, conduct needs assessments, and maintain survey readiness through clinical audits and mock surveys. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to implement new protocols, develop promotional content for service line growth, and ensure adherence to infection control practices. Prepare status reports on active projects and facilitate improvement initiatives to enhance patient care delivery.
Required Qualifications
- 4 Year/Bachelor's Degree
- Two years of project management, quality or regulatory experience
- Experience or training in principles of quality improvement and regulatory compliance
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Experience in utilizing work processing, spreadsheets, and clinical systems/databases
- Demonstrates effective communication skills
- Autonomous, self-starter with the ability to make independent decisions
- Organized with effective time management skills
- Detail oriented with ability to facilitate change and affect positive results
- Proficient in computer/web-based tools
- Ability to lift/push/pull 100 lbs
- Ability to use safety equipment, such as HEPA mask, for infection prevention
- On call responsibilities as directed
- Ability to travel between campus buildings, remote facilities, and out of town as needed
