Job Summary
Manage the implementation of Industrial Maintenance and Metalwork training programs, including developing recruitment and outreach campaigns, coordinating activities with instructors, and ensuring necessary materials and equipment. Conduct student recruitment, case management, and job development while representing the Center for Workforce Development at promotional events. Assist with grant management, budget tracking, and reporting to meet benchmarks. Serve as a liaison with PA CareerLink and other workforce providers. Respond to student issues and resolve classroom-related concerns. This full-time, in-person role is based at the new Center for Advanced Technologies in Bristol, PA.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- four (4) years of experience in workforce development, recruitment, job placement, or a related field
- equivalent combination of education and experience
- Demonstrated ability to manage projects and work with budgets
- Strong attention to detail
- excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- ability to learn new software and data management systems
- Comfortable with public speaking
- an understanding of the relationship between workforce training programs and economic development
- ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to travel to training sites and event locations within and outside of Bucks County
- respond to student issues on a regular basis
- think entrepreneurially when addressing recruitment challenges
- investigate and resolve student- and classroom-related issues
- escalate concerns to the Director, as appropriate
- This is a full-time, in-person position
- successful completion of background check(s)
