Job Summary
Oversee day-to-day program management for the FEMA 2028 Summer Olympics and Paralympics Consequence Management Planning effort, serving as the single point of accountability for contract performance across planning, exercise support, technical writing, data analysis, and stakeholder engagement work streams. Develop and maintain the Project Management Plan, Integrated Master Schedule, and risk logs while monitoring staffing levels and milestone progress to prevent disruptions. Prepare monthly status reports, coordinate all contractor activities with the Contracting Officer, and lead quality control reviews of deliverables for technical accuracy and security compliance. Identify and escalate risks affecting schedule, cost, or mission outcomes, ensuring personnel meet all DHS/FEMA suitability and training requirements. Represent the contractor in senior leader engagements and interagency coordination sessions required for this high-visibility national special event mission.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- Minimum 10 years of professional program/project management experience
- Must be a US Citizen or lawful permanent resident
- Unclassified access, favorably adjudicated background investigation required prior to entry on duty
- Employment Classification Eligibility - W2
- Must be able to lift objects of up to 10 lbs
- Must complete and receive favorable adjudication from a federal government background investigation
Desired Qualifications
- DHS, FEMA, or comparable federal homeland security/emergency management client experience strongly preferred
- Experience supporting major national or international special events (Olympics, NSSEs, national conventions, etc.) highly desirable
- Demonstrated experience managing multi disciplinary teams spanning planning, exercise support, technical writing, data/graphics, and stakeholder coordination
- PMP (or equivalent PM certification) a plus
