Job Summary
Monitor, direct, and control manufacturing programs by leading cost, schedule, and performance initiatives. Direct focused programs through strategic planning, activity analysis, and goal establishment while managing a team of individuals with corrective actions as needed. Ensure risks are properly identified, managed, and mitigated to prevent issues and maintain project success. Create robust processes for risk management and apply strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills to resolve problems and adapt to fluctuating workloads. Work within the confines of the quality system, with a hybrid schedule after 90 days, and be willing to travel and work overtime as necessary.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years experience with automotive and/or aerospace fixtures
- Knowledge and handling of project and program management methodology and techniques
- Knowledge of machining, tool build, welding and CMM processes in regards to timing, milestones, and deadlines
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office programs
- Understanding of the wider objectives of the program
- The ability to find innovative ways to resolve problems
- Willingness to work overtime as needed, with the ability to adapt to fluctuating workloads
- Ability to work positively with the wide range of individuals involved in program management
- Requires strong leadership and people skills
- As well as a strong management discipline and communication skills
- Knowledge of budgeting and resource allocation procedures
- Strong negotiation skills
- Experience leading/following manufacturing projects
- Willingness to travel as necessary
- All employees are required to work within the confines and responsibilities of the quality system
Desired Qualifications
- Estimating experience preferred
- Experience utilizing Microsoft Project
