Job Summary

Program Manager at Walker-Miller Energy Services oversees energy-efficiency program delivery, coordinating with clients, community organizations, and contractors to ensure scope and budget alignment. Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required in business or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • 10+ years progressive HR experience highlighting a combination of HR business partnership, people and talent management strategy experience and execution in a dynamic, high-growth organization.
  • Minimum 3 years Talent Management experience running talent review processes.
  • Minimum 3 years experience as an HR Business Partner
  • Proven ability to successfully manage multiple projects at a time while paying strict attention to detail and deadlines; to include development and implementation of new processes.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute talent strategy to achieve business outcomes
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization.
  • Demonstrated experience with all aspects of human resource management including performance management, talent reviews, employee relations, compensation, learning and development.
  • Project Management: Manages projects of varying complexity; develops and implements project plans; monitors and controls progress; and coordinates with stakeholders.
  • Stakeholder Management: Builds strong relationships with stakeholders and clients and consults with them regularly to gather feedback and ensure goal alignment.
  • Communication: Communicates accurately and concisely with target audiences, adapting style and content as needed.
  • Data Analysis: Uses data to inform decision-making and drive project improvements.
  • Program Development: Independently develops comprehensive program and training materials; delivers and evaluates programs for effectiveness; recommends improvements; manages program logistics, engagement, and analysis; and collaborates with stakeholders to implement enhancements.
  • Technology Skills: Effectively uses a range of technology tools and software to produce desired outputs.
  • Collaboration: Works effectively in cross-functional teams, including during challenging situations, demonstrating resilience and adaptability. Builds and nurtures communities (e.g., team members, entrepreneurs, mentors, investors, customers, and business leaders) that can support one another.
  • Leadership: Leads and manages a small team successfully; communicates effectively; builds strong relationships with team members; handles employee relations issues independently and confidently; and contributes to team development and performance initiatives.
  • Financial Management: Develops and implements comprehensive financial plans, monitors performance and adjusts as needed, and partners with teams to optimize resource allocation.
  • Strategic Thinking: Supports the development and implementation of strategic plans; communicates with stakeholders to gather requirements and provide recommendations; and identifies risks and opportunities related to strategic initiatives.
  • Energy Efficiency Knowledge: Understands industry- and domain-specific tools and methodologies relevant to the role (e.g., program management, regulatory compliance, energy efficiency) and applies that knowledge to solve problems.
