Job Summary
Program Manager to lead the development and management of a portfolio of research and engagement programs at the University of Waterloo. Responsibilities include guiding the design, delivery, and ongoing refinement of marketable programs for faculty, staff, and students that align with partner needs and the university brand; collaborating with internal and external teams (facilitators, instructional designers, researchers, client service coordinators, and more) throughout the program lifecycle from launch to scale; nurturing relationships with university departments and industry partners to ensure programs meet market needs; managing budgets, advisory committees, and stakeholder communications; overseeing program evaluation and applying learning outcomes to improve offerings; supervision of co-op students; and leveraging adult learning principles and best practices in client engagement and program design. Key skills include program development, stakeholder management, budgeting, project management, data-informed design, communication and negotiation, open-ended questioning, and the ability to operate in a matrix environment and within the university context.
