Job Summary
Program Manager to lead and oversee aerospace/defense programs across sustainment, development, and R&D for a new high-volume turbine-engine manufacturing initiative. Responsibilities include defining scope, budgets, schedules, risks; interfacing with engineering, manufacturing, quality, supply chain, and customer teams; acting as primary point of contact for government and commercial customers; ensuring compliance with defense and aerospace regulations (DFARS/ITAR); tracking earned value metrics and KPIs; driving new product development from concept to production readiness; supporting SOW definition, cost estimates, and capacity planning; assisting in facility expansion and startup efforts; collaborating with finance, HR, and IT to align operations with business needs.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related technical field
- 7+ years of experience in aerospace or defense manufacturing
- 3+ years in program management
- Experience with Earned Value Management (EVM)
- Scheduling tools such as MS Project
- Strong knowledge of aerospace program lifecycle
- Familiarity with DoD/FAA program structures, contracting, and compliance including DFARS and ITAR
- Leadership of cross-functional teams
- Background in lean manufacturing, operations scaling, or facility startup
- U.S. citizen
