Job Summary

Lead large or platform programs independently by building cross-functional teams, establishing deliverables, and ensuring critical elements from design to commercialization meet objectives. Remove roadblocks, resolve conflicts, and manage scope changes while driving process improvement initiatives and maintaining NPD compliance. Prepare executive-level presentations on product reviews and New Product Development for audiences up to the CEO, analyze team progress, and develop mitigation plans. Provide global New Product Development training as a subject matter expert and communicate program status, issues, and metrics to the Business Unit. Lead globally distributed teams with a focus on servant leadership, conflict resolution, and rapid decision-making in a fast-paced environment.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, applied science, finance, business, management, or economics
  • Advanced degree in directly applicable area of study (substitutes for up to two years of experience)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong reading comprehension skills
  • Ability to understand business objectives
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Ability to lead and run stakeholder meetings
  • Good skills and knowledge of servant leadership, facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, continual improvement, empowerment, and increasing transparency
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Project and schedule techniques and best practices
  • Familiarity with general MS Office applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project
  • Familiarity with Agile tools such as Jira, or equivalent
  • Ability to efficiently communicate to all levels of organization or outside partners
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Ability to lead a team of engineers in a matrix environment
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to analyze team progress, provide executive level presentations on that analysis with business impacts, and develop and present proposed mitigation plans
  • Excellent listening skills
  • Desire to seek out and complete trainings relevant to the position or projects assigned
  • Display high emotional Intelligence to connect meaningfully with team members
  • Ability to make decisions rapidly
  • PMP Certification strongly preferred; or commitment to obtain certification within one (1) year of date of hire or promotion

Desired Qualifications

  • NPD experience is highly preferred
