Job Summary

Lead the district's Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) governance structure and manage high-impact, district-wide initiatives from ideation through execution. Develop comprehensive communication strategies to keep stakeholders abreast of project status while maintaining governance frameworks for decision-making and regulatory alignment. Assume primary responsibility for project leadership, including developing charters, work plans, and status reports for multi-million dollar technology and operational budgets. Proactively identify and resolve risks, dependencies, and issues across complex technical efforts, utilizing software development life cycle methodologies for system design, testing, and deployment. Define and track outcomes using qualitative and quantitative data to inform continuous improvement efforts and build institutional knowledge.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Program and Project Management
  • 5+ years Organizational planning strategy
  • Live and work with a permanent home address in Colorado
  • The ability to work full-time, in the office
  • Have the ability with or without accommodations to meet the physical demands of the position
  • Knowledge of program management best practices
  • Knowledge of product management and best practices
  • Work style that yields high results when working independently or as part of a team
  • Ability to foster effective relationships with district staff, schools, and external partners
  • Ability to prioritize multiple projects
  • Ability to develop, plan, and implement short- and long-range goals, establish priorities, and organize resources
  • Ability to multi-task without compromising integrity or fidelity
  • Experience and proficiency with Microsoft Office products and/or Project Management Software (e.g. Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint)
  • Effectively handle multiple demands and competing deadlines
  • Inspired, visionary who can foster/generate excitement, buy-in and understanding with colleagues and employees outside of the team
  • High degree of integrity in handling confidential information
  • Must possess extensive knowledge and expertise in the use of project management methodologies and tools, resource management practices and change management techniques

Desired Qualifications

  • Master's Degree in Business, Public Policy, Organizational Psychology preferred
  • Project Management Professional - (PMP) Certification preferred
  • Knowledge of ERP systems (preferred but not required)
