Job Summary
Lead end-to-end management and governance of the IFL Portfolio, ensuring initiatives remain aligned with strategic business objectives and organizational priorities. Establish portfolio governance frameworks, reporting standards, and decision-making forums while monitoring performance against milestones, risks, and success measures. Drive benefits realisation management, coordinate cross-program dependencies, and facilitate steering committees to provide executive visibility into progress and required decisions. Balance strategic planning with hands-on delivery leadership to optimise resource utilisation and ensure successful execution of complex, interdependent initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years' experience delivering complex programs, portfolios, or large-scale strategic change initiatives within Financial Services, Superannuation, Wealth Management, Transfer Agency, Investments, or Software Delivery environments
- Demonstrated experience managing multiple related projects and programs within a portfolio environment
- Strong understanding of portfolio, program, and project management methodologies, including Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid delivery approaches
- Proven ability to establish and operate effective governance, reporting, and decision-making frameworks
- Experience managing senior executive stakeholders and influencing outcomes across multiple business functions
- Strong commercial and financial management capability, including business case oversight, benefits realisation, forecasting, budgeting, and investment governance
- Expertise in risk, dependency, issue, and change management across complex delivery environments
- Exceptional communication, facilitation, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills
- Strong leadership capability with experience leading cross-functional teams and driving alignment across diverse stakeholder groups
- Demonstrated ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on delivery leadership
- Highly organised, outcome-focused, and capable of managing competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Experience using portfolio and project management tooling including Jira, Confluence, and other delivery management platforms
- Relevant qualifications in Program Management, Project Management, Agile Delivery, or related disciplines (PgMP, MSP, PMP, PRINCE2, SAFe or equivalent highly regarded)
