Job Summary
Act as the primary on-site interface with Government Site authorities to manage program/project and contract administration issues. Develop management procedures and controls to supervise operations, while planning, directing, and monitoring project execution to ensure timely progress and adherence to standards. Monitor project status and schedule to identify shortfalls, manage resource acquisition, and control financial and administrative aspects per contract requirements. Coordinate technical support staff, track vendor deliverables, and develop detailed work plans, schedules, and status reports. Ensure compliance with Army software environment standards, including proficiency in Microsoft SQL and .NET framework, while delivering progress updates and meeting contractual commitments. Work Monday through Friday, 0600 – 1700, on-site in Fort Belvoir, VA.
Required Qualifications
- A bachelor's or postgraduate degree in engineering, scientific, technical, or business management disciplines from an accredited college or university
- A minimum of 15 years of management and supervisory experience in relevant fields, particularly in Army Records Management or similar government contracting programs/projects
- An active in scope Top Secret security clearance
- Experience managing IT programs with employees working across multiple concurrent projects
- Knowledge of the Army's software environment including Microsoft SQL and the .NET framework
- Ability to solve complex problems using advanced principles and theories
- Skill in coordinating and motivating technical support staff
- Strong organizational and administrative management capabilities
- Commitment to meeting contractual commitments and delivering high-quality project outcomes
- Must possess baseline and computing environment certifications for IAT-II IAW DoD 8570.01-M (CCNA-Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+, CND, or SSCP)
- On government site within Fort Belvoir, VA
Desired Qualifications
- Advanced degree or certifications in project management, such as PMP (Project Management Professional)
- Extensive experience in managing IT projects within a government contracting environment
- Experience with GOTS applications such as ARMIS, AAO, ACOTD, FACTS, MDR, or ADAMS
- Strong leadership and project management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities for effective liaison with government representatives
