Job Summary
Program Manager - Senior needed to lead large-scale IT and Public Safety telecommunications projects in a 18-month contract, including governance, budgeting, risk management, and stakeholder communication. Responsibilities include developing charters and integrated project plans in line with PMI standards, managing budgets and forecasting, leading requirements gathering, ensuring SDLC best practices, and providing governance reporting. Technical leadership across Public Safety communications projects (PSAP, CCS, trunked radio, voice logging, and related systems) from procurement through operational transition, with cross-functional team coordination and executive-level briefings. Required experience: 10+ years in PM/PMO, PMI methodologies, enterprise IT implementations, telecom/voice projects in Public Safety, and strong leadership and communication skills. AI-enabled tools may be used to sort applications; final decision rests with human reviewers.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of progressive experience in Program and Project Management
- Strong working knowledge of PMI standards and methodologies
- Demonstrated experience managing large-scale, enterprise-level IT implementations
- Proven experience delivering telecommunications and voice communication system projects in Public Safety environments
- Experience managing complex budgets with high levels of fiscal accountability
- Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills
