Job Summary

Coordinate administrative and programmatic activities for the NSF EPSCoR E-CORE RII award, including South Carolina Collaborative Academic Pathways in STEM (SC-CAPS). Support the Principal Investigator in planning meetings, workshops, and conferences while facilitating communication among project leadership and participating colleges. Manage funding program operations, proposal processing, and peer reviews for the Faculty Research Development Academy and Summer Undergraduate Research Experiences. Plan major events such as the annual external advisory board meetings and state conference, and maintain participant databases to track outcomes. Collect and compile data for annual reporting requirements. Requires a B.S./B.A. with 5+ years in program coordination, experience with federal grants, and moderate travel within South Carolina.

Required Qualifications

  • B.S./B.A. (minimum)
  • 5+ years of experience in program coordination
  • Experience with federal grant programs and/or private foundations
  • Outstanding written and oral communication skills
  • Moderate travel within the state of South Carolina

Desired Qualifications

  • Proficiency working with a diverse range of stakeholders (K-12, college/university)
