Job Summary
Coordinate daily routines and activities for assigned students, providing supervision, coaching, and support in living, school, and community settings. Instruct students on self-care skills, social interaction, and coping strategies while conducting team meetings, facilitating treatment discussions, and maintaining thorough minutes. Participate in medication reviews, create and post staff schedules, and ensure appropriate student supervision levels. Implement individualized treatment plans, collect behavioral data, and complete progress notes and required reports. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to transition students into group areas and provide training for program staff. Manage direct reports through interviewing, orientation, performance monitoring, and payroll processing, while monitoring overtime and supporting professional development. Maintain site cleanliness, safety, and equipment, and comply with all agency policies and emergency procedures.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in psychology, education or a related field or 4 years equivalent related experience
- Completion of 40 hours of Behavioral Tech online training within 4 months of employment
- 3 years' experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities in a therapeutic and supportive environment
- 1-year supervisory experience
- Age 21 or older
- Valid Wi driver's license with an acceptable driving record per company policy
- Ability to exercise good judgment and effectively solve problems
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and maintain self-composure/self-control in times of high stress
- Ability to work effectively alone and as a member of a team
- Knowledge of and compliance with all information in the Company Handbook; Company policies/procedures including maintaining participant confidentiality; emergency/disaster procedures, fire/tornado safety, and vehicle operations manual
