Job Summary
Program Manager (Employer Liaison) to supervise Mentors who work with families; responsibilities include recruitment and hiring of Mentors, matching Mentors to families, processing payroll and mileage, coordinating required training, handling performance-management issues, and identifying manager training needs for families. The role requires regional travel, flexibility in work schedule, and strong relationship-building and communication skills. A Bachelor’s degree is highly preferred; substantial relevant experience may substitute for the degree. Travel, background checks, agency-provided laptop/mobile phone, and references are part of the process. Hybrid work is possible after initial training period. Mileage is reimbursed.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- at least 2 years of similar supervisory experience
- proven relationship-building and strong communication skills (verbal, written, interpersonal)
- ability to travel regionally for job fairs, professional meetings, and interviews
- intermediate MS Office skills
- valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, auto insurance
- ability to work with families and supervise Mentors who work remotely with varying schedules
