Job Summary
Program Manager for UCPE Professional Development Programs oversees the full student lifecycle for non-credit certificates and standalone offerings, including admissions onboarding through completion, academic advising, course scheduling, instructor contracting, course management, and student communications. Responsibilities include maintaining accurate student records, coordinating across enrollment and leadership teams to enhance the student experience, managing Canvas course sites, organizing virtual information sessions and recruitment events, and ensuring quality assurance in program processes. Requires coordinating with faculty/instructors, advising prospective students on program options, and supporting planning for professional development programming with a focus on student engagement, equity, inclusion, accessibility, and high-quality learner experiences. Minimum qualifications include a college degree and 2-5 years of related work experience; preferred qualifications include a Master’s degree in higher education, student affairs, or related field, plus experience in student affairs, academic program administration, and virtual event planning across time zones.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher
- 2-5 years of work experience in a related job discipline
- Experience in higher education or student services preferred
- Knowledge of student information systems/registrations/CRM/LMS
- Experience with Canvas or similar LMS
- Strong organizational, communication, and relationship-building skills
