Job Summary
Define, manage, and own project scope for the arterial portfolio from early concept through commercialization. Develop detailed Gantt charts, monitor status, and analyze critical paths while evaluating tradeoffs. Create project budgets with cross-functional leaders and optimize costs within established limits. Develop risk management plans, stakeholder engagement strategies, and resource assignment protocols. Coach team members and execute communications plans for internal and external stakeholders. Ensure adherence to divisional NPD governance processes and lead change management efforts. Support PMO maturation by implementing new tools and educating cross-functional resources on standards.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, or related field
- Minimum 8 years of work experience leading engineering or product development programs in a regulated industry
- Proven ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Project with experience creating and regularly maintaining project timelines
- Must be able to live within commuting distance to Stryker's Waltham, MA office
- Must be on-site 5 days per week
Desired Qualifications
- PMP Certification
- Experience with hardware, software and/or capital equipment projects
- Experience influencing cross-functional stakeholders without direct authority
