Job Summary

Support the local patient safety program by deploying high reliability skills, facilitating root cause analyses, and developing corrective action plans to ensure closure. Monitor progress toward safety goals, oversee culture of safety surveys, and compile event data to identify trends for leadership reporting. Provide education on error prevention strategies, partner with clinical leaders to mitigate risks, and promote best practices across departments. Assist with survey readiness, improve care process reliability, and support workforce engagement initiatives. Requires a Bachelor's degree, one year in quality or patient safety, and CPPS certification within two years of hire.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Health Care Administration, Nursing, Public Health, or related field
  • One year experience in quality, patient safety, risk management, or performance improvement
  • Two years experience in patient safety, quality improvement, or related roles
  • Certified Professional in Patient Safety (CPPS) certification
  • Lean certification
  • Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice or related credential
  • CPPS or Lean or Six Sigma Green Belt (LGB)
  • All required vaccinations as a condition of employment
