Job Summary
Develop and oversee a pilot program for single mothers and their children, managing intake processes, interviews, and assessments to build successful plans of service. Coordinate case management services addressing parenting enrichment, budgeting, and healthy relationships while serving as a liaison with campus departments. Provide crisis intervention and after-hours emergency support, maintaining accurate documentation of family assessments and goal monitoring. Build professional relationships with clients and staff, organize family events, and ensure timely communication regarding mental health needs or safety incidents. Meet with the supervisor bi-weekly for supervision and consultation.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree from an accredited university in psychology/counseling, social work, ministry, education, or related field in human services
- Three or more years experience post graduate work in a related field
- Extensive working experience with children and vulnerable populations
- Physically able to respond to emergencies
- CPR and First Aid Training
- Cleared through a criminal background and FBI fingerprint investigation
- Tested for tuberculosis
