Job Summary
Oversee contract operations for federal clients, managing complex AI/ML projects, task orders, and distributed teams through the full project lifecycle. Lead planning, execution, monitoring, and control while managing scope, schedule, budget, resources, and risks to ensure successful delivery. Serve as the primary point of contact for federal stakeholders, maintaining strong relationships and ensuring adherence to client standards, security requirements, and architectural guidelines. Coordinate implementation efforts, facilitate customer and vendor engagements, and lead cross-functional teams including data scientists and engineers using agile methodologies. Perform quality control on deliverables, oversee financial aspects including earned value management, and develop project plans with risk mitigation strategies. Promote adoption of AI best practices and responsible AI principles while supporting proposal efforts and organizational growth initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- US Citizenship with ability to obtain a Public Trust
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
- 10+ years of experience managing complex IT or technology programs
- Experience supporting federal agencies, particularly within federal civilian or public sector environments
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies such as Agile
- Experience with financial management practices, including earned value management
- Strong communication skills and ability to engage effectively with stakeholders
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional technical teams
- Experience working within federal security, compliance, and governance frameworks
- Experience managing AI/ML, data analytics, or advanced technology initiatives
- Local to Ashburn, VA and available to work onsite as needed
Desired Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
- PMP Certification
- Familiarity with AI/ML lifecycle concepts, including data pipelines and model deployment
