Job Summary
Senior Program Manager to lead high-impact consulting engagements for Microsoft Services Consulting, acting as strategic advisor to clients, planning and delivering cross-industry engagements, building long-term client relationships, driving business development, and ensuring successful delivery within scope, timelines, budgets, and resources. Responsibilities include executive-level communications, stakeholder reporting, financial performance oversight (billing and forecasting), collaboration with internal teams to maintain delivery standards, supporting strategic transformations, and contributing to the development of consulting methodologies and best practices.
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in strategic consulting and program management within an enterprise client-facing role
- Proven track record managing complex projects involving multiple stakeholders, cross-functional teams, and executive audiences
- Strong understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and modern project delivery methodologies (Agile, Hybrid, Waterfall)
- Solid technical foundation, including experience with Microsoft technologies and cloud-based solutions
- Experience managing project financials, including budgets, forecasting, and milestone-based funding
- Demonstrated strength in client engagement management, including expectation setting, executive communication, risk mitigation, and issue resolution
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with audiences at all organizational levels
- Ability to translate complex technical and business concepts into clear, actionable plans and insights
- Confident decision-maker with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple concurrent engagements
- Collaborative leadership style with strong interpersonal and conflict-resolution skills
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- PMP, PRINCE2, Agile certification, or equivalent project management education preferred
