Job Summary
Manage day-to-day operations of Centers of Excellence grant programs, monitoring deliverables, timelines, milestones, and performance metrics. Ensure compliance with federal, state, institutional, and sponsor requirements while coordinating grant reporting, documentation, and budget stewardship. Develop and implement programs supporting student recruitment, retention, academic success, and professional development, including summer enrichment and workforce initiatives. Track participant outcomes, analyze performance data, and prepare annual, semi-annual, and final grant reports. Supervise program coordinators, student workers, and support staff as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Higher Education, Public Health, Healthcare Administration, Education, Business Administration, or related field
- 3–5 years of program management experience
- Experience analyzing data
- Experience managing federally funded grants (HRSA, NIH, Department of Education, CDC, etc.)
- Experience in higher education, healthcare, workforce development, or student success programs
Desired Qualifications
- Master's degree in Higher Education, Public Health, Healthcare Administration, Education, Business Administration, or related field
- Experience with HRSA Centers of Excellence grants
- Knowledge of health professions education and workforce diversity initiatives
- Experience with grant writing and grant reporting
- Demonstrated effectiveness to advancing a culture and climate of diversity, equity, belonging and anti-oppression
- Demonstrated effectiveness as a leader of faculty and staff
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to write policies and procedures
- Strong leadership and organizational skills
- Deep understanding of academic policies and procedures
