Job Summary
Oversee execution of high-precision machine tool projects by bridging design and factory floors, aligning engineering, supply chain, and production targets. Document scope, features, and timelines using Stage-Gate methodology while defining resource requirements and compiling project plans in Microsoft Project. Coordinate cross-functional teams across multiple locations to resolve issues quickly, manage budgets, and mitigate risks like material shortages or equipment failures. Drive documentation efforts from prototype to production release and manage crating, rigging, and shipment to customer locations. Report to the General Manager with a Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of program management experience; must be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in a technical field
- 5+ years of program management experience
- Computer skills in Microsoft Office
- Computer skills in Microsoft Project
- Excellent organizational skills
- Attention to detail
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Proven ability to manage changing priorities
- Strong working knowledge of manufacturing methods
- Strong working knowledge of high precision automated machine tools
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Excellent written communication skills
- Effective use of Teams or similar web-based meeting software
- Demonstrated ability to work independently
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
